On Sunday 21 August 2016, Lord Harris Mark 1494 and Erdemont Mark 1894 held their annual joint Sunday lunch.

The weather was bright and warm, which always makes an event seem better. Everyone appeared to have a good time, the noise level was high and the conversation jovial. Not only was a good impression of Masonry given to our non-Masonic guests but the event also further fired up the enthusiasm of the three persons present, who are waiting to join Erdemont Mark. Lord Harris and Erdemont are fortunate to have so many candidates lined up to join the Mark Degree, the future looks good for the Lodges and their support for the 2020 Festival!

As well as having an excellent, convivial afternoon, the lunch raised a total of £338.42 towards the 2020 Festival. Every such sum helps. Both Mark Lodges have attained the Festival Bronze award. The donations from the lunch will help both Royal Ark Mariner Lodges as they move ever closer to attaining their own honours.
