MBF Awards at KIMM 999

At a meeting of Kent Installed Mark Masters on 24 June, the Provincial Grand Master was pleased to present a further three MBF awards. This time, the recipients were Tony Lewis, Vice-Patron, Clive Manuel, Patron and John Shervington, Grand Patron. All three can be seen together and also with the PGM, Rt W.Bro Archie Torrance and the Worshipful Master of the Lodge, VW Bro Fred Brown, APGM. The Province offers its grateful thanks to all three recipients for their support.

As we get nearer to 2020, many more such awards will be presented. If you want to work towards an award to demonstrate your support for the great works of the Mark Benevolent Fund, do consider regular giving. Any enquiries can be directed to the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, WBro Ian Gallehawk.

To round the day off, the Lodge was treated to an excellent talk from WBro Paddy Langdown on the history if the Vulcan bomber. If you ever get the chance to hear this talk, don’t miss it, it is excellent! WBro Paddy then donated a total of £208.42 to the 2020 Festival from his lectures and sale of coins. If you have any coins or currency to dispose of, don’t throw it away, get to WBro Paddy, who will turn it into cash for the 2020 Festival.
