Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Kent
In Search of A Golden Ferret!

April 2nd is officially National Ferret Day and also the same day that our Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Archie Torrance accompanied by Terry Hall and supported by Perri Ahmet and Les Sheward will aim to play as many holes of golf as possible between them in one day.

In Search of A Golden Ferret!

Raising funds for the 2020 Festival, they will tee off at first light at Gillingham Golf Club with its narrow tree lined fairways and small fast greens, and won’t retire to the nineteenth hole until dusk!

You can support them and the Festival, both financially and motivationally, via this dedicated Virgin Money Giving page which Terry has kindly set up. Terry was involved in a similar event last year with R.W. Bro. David Ashbolt for the London Mark Masons Charity Appeal which raised more than £2,500 and it would be wonderful if we could raise a similar amount.

If you are still pondering the significance of National Ferret Day, well in golfing parlance a ferret is the holing of a ball from off the green for a par or better and a golden ferret, the holing of a ball directly from a bunker.
