Accompanied by a small group from the Mark Province of Kent, R.W. Bro. Archie, who is also a member of the MBF's Petitions Committee, presented the charity with cheque for £12,434 to purchase a state of the art therapeutic bath for one of the newly refurbished rooms.

The party were then shown around the hospice by Alex Fitzgerald (above), the Trust’s Fundraiser, who explained the work of Demelza and how, when families are struggling to cope because their children have a serious or terminal condition, the teams at Bobbing and Eltham provide specialist care and support, bringing them back from breaking point. Demelza's nurses, therapists and dedicated volunteers give families the time and space to feel like families again through around the clock care, play and therapy.
