Welcome to the Mark Province of Kent, which was constituted in 1872 at the Royal Hotel, Ramsgate, although our very first Provincial Grand Master was appointed 15 years earlier, in 1857. Since then, it has grown to become the second largest Province in the constitution with 59 Mark Lodges and 47 Royal Ark Mariner Lodges meeting all over Kent and London.

The Province is presided over by the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Peter Williams and assisted by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Martyn Summers and two Assistant Provincial Grand Masters, W.Bro. Steve Hyland and W.Bro. Greg Dunham.

The aim of this website is to provide you with information about Mark Masonry and Royal Ark Mariner Masonry in Kent. We hope it will be a useful resource for our members, both prospective and existing.

It is hoped that by your interest you may like to expand your masonic knowledge of Freemasonry and you are invited to consider joining the Mark Degree. I am sure you will enjoy the experience for it is known throughout Freemasonry as the ‘friendly’ degree.
