Having regard to current government guidance, and the expectation that even by October it is more than reasonable to expect a cap on indoor dining still to be in force, which would significantly restrict permitted attendance at the event, the President of the M.B.F., the Pro Grand Master, the Grand Secretary and myself are of one mind, that the event should be moved to Saturday 13th March 2021.
It will still be held at the Kent Event Centre & Showground at Detling, near Maidstone, Kent. The event content and guest experience will remain as previously advertised.
I do hope this decision takes away some of the remaining uncertainty and unease about what was going to happen and that our 1,325 guests will still wish to join us for our celebration. We can assure you of a weekend to remember!
