On Tuesday 12th June more than 2,000 members of the Mark Master Masons’ community came together from far and wide in the Grand Temple of Freemasons’ Hall in Great Queen Street for this year’s Annual Investiture Meeting of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of England and Wales and its Districts and Lodges Overseas. The meeting was presided over by the Grand Master, MW. Bro. His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent.

As can be seen from the photograph below, our Province was very well represented with more than 50 members in attendance.

Special congratulations go to W. Bro. John Edgcumbe, W. Bro. David Austin and W. Bro. Martyn Summers ProvDGDC on their being appointed to active Grand Junior Warden, Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies and Grand Steward respectively.

RW. Bro. Archie Torrance, Provincial Grand Master, said: “I was delighted to be present to share this special day when well deserving members of our Province received their first appointment. I was thrilled each time one of them stepped forward to be invested by the Grand Master and the Mark Province of Kent was mentioned. I am now looking forward to the September communication when, under the new format, brethren from the Province will receive promotions and I hope Kent will again be very well represented.”

Below is a list of all of the Kent brethren who were appointed on the day, all of whom receive the best wishes and congratulations of all of us in the Province.
