A big thank you to âeveryone who took part in the 2020 Festival sponsored walk on Sunday 24âth June 2018.
âMore than a dozen determined âwalkers took on a 10 mile hike around the beautiful scenery of the River Stour and surrounding âcountrysideââ between Canterbury and Charthamâ. The only cause of discontent âfor the happy band âwas the envy felt by the walkers on a boiling hot day as the dogs entered the river to cool off!
As we get ever nearer to the Festival every initiative matters. Many thanks to W.Broâ.â Peter and Mrs Sue Laker for once again organising the walk and laying on a most enjoyable reception at their houseâ. An excellent way to spend a Sunday!
