Tuesday 5 December 2017 saw the annual Provincial Follow Up Meeting. This year, the meeting was hosted by Kentish Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 857.
The purpose of the meeting is to transact any business that could not be finished at the main Provincial Meeting. It was excellent to see 10 further MBF collarettes presented, two of which were Grand patron Gold Awards (pictured below). More particularly for the Lodge, the Provincial Grand Master had the pleasure of presenting the Worshipful Master, W.Bro Steven Luton, with a 2020 Festival Silver Award Certificate to mark the tremendous support given so far by the Lodge towards the 2020 Festival.
As if this were not enough, the Treasurer of the Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges, VW Bro Peter Wise, presented the Provincial Grand Master with a cheque for £500 from the Royal Ark Mariner Lodge in further support of the 2020 Festival. An outstanding effort by everyone involved!
The mood was relaxed and happy at a packed Festive Board with traditional, festive decorations adorning the dining hall. As we now move into the Christmas period, we can all look forward to working in the New Year as part of a thriving province, determined to make the 2020 Festival the resounding success we all want it to be.
