It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Mills MBE, Founder of the Hope for Tomorrow charity.

Christine passed away on the morning of Saturday 1st September having sadly lost her own battle with cancer. She faced this challenge with determination and threw herself more into her work than ever before. Her loss is felt by many and her legacy will live on in the continued excellent work of Hope for Tomorrow.

The MBF has supported Hope for Tomorrow in a major way in recent years by making grants to help roll out several mobile chemotherapy units (MCU) around England and Wales, including here in Kent.

On hearing of Christine’s passing, RW. Bro. Archie Torrance commented “I was pleased to meet Christine at the handover of the MBF sponsored MCU based in Canterbury in late 2013 shortly after I became PGM. She was a lovely lady who was driven to make the lives of other cancer sufferers a little easier.”
