W. Bro Ian Gallehawk, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, paid an official visit to the Installation Meeting of the Dover & Cinque Ports Mark Lodge on Tuesday November 12th where he saw Bro. Mark Whibley installed for the first time by W. Bro David Pearson in an excellent manner. Te meeting was made all the more special by the fact that the masonic careers of both Brothers have been interwoven since their earliest days in the Craft.

Not content with holding an Installation Meeting, the Lodge went on to make a donation of £1,000 to the 2020 Festival. This sum took the Lodge to the Festival Bronze Award Level.

Assisted by the Provincial Charity Steward, W. Bro. Brian Ward, W. Bro. Ian was able to present the Lodge with its Bronze Award Certificate, the 80th Lodge in the Province to attain this honour. With the date of the Festival getting ever closer, time is getting shorter so it is excellent to see yet another Lodge that will have the Festival logo next to its name in the yearbook until the next Festival in some 35 years’ time.

An excellent meeting with excellent support from a Lodge with a bright future.
