My earliest memory is at three years old, feeding swans from the steps of Fowey Harbour in Cornwall.

I played Rugby for Bristol First XV and Bath First XV and for England as a schoolboy in Rugby and Athletics. Neither International career extended past the age of 21 after breaking my leg skiing. I played Squash for the County of Bristol. During my employment life in Sport I acquired five different sports coaching qualifications, Squash, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Trampoline. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Sports and Leisure Management.

For the past 20 years I have been a fully qualified Toastmaster (Red jacket and stiff white waistcoat and bow tie). I am qualified in all sorts of events including – Weddings (all denominations), Anniversaries, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, Civics, Military, Parliamentary
and Royalty etc.

The highlight of my employment career was being the organiser for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Training Camps in Kent. This was an eight-year process culminating in me attending every day of the Olympic and Paralympics, the best 2×2 week experience of my life.

As the Kent Sports Facilities Development Manager I was involved in, at some sort of level, most of the sports facilities developed in Kent over the last 30 years.
