At the Installation meeting of the Kent Installed Commandersâ Lodge No. 999 on Friday 6th March in Wrotham, Lodge Founder W. Bro. Stephen Dann was installed as Worshipful Commander.
Stephen was one of the crew that formed the Maidstone based Lodge in 1992, which as far as we know is the first Past Commandersâ Lodge to be founded with the express purpose of investing Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Grand Ranks within the jurisdiction.
During the evening the Lodge donated a generous total of £1,200 to the 2020 Festival. This was followed by a presentation to W. Bro. Fred Brown, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, by David Barden and Jason Cameron-Potter of £8,500 from their secondhand regalia exchange, also for our Festival, bringing the donated from the scheme to the Festival over the past 8 years to an amazing £18,270.
