The Invicta Mark lodge 378 held its annual ladies supper at the Masonic centre in North Street Ashford. The evening was presided over W. Bro Tony Poynter and his lady Teresa who were delighted to welcome 36 guests to enjoy an evening of fine food and wine. A wonderful ‘ode to the ladies’ was delivered by W. Bro Ian Smith which was followed by a delightful response by Teresa on behalf of the ladies. Teresa was then presented with a lovely bunch of flowers by Tony on behalf of the lodge for all her hard work and support in organising the evening.

As the evening neared its end W. Bro Tony announced that the Invicta Mark lodge was pleased to send a cheque for £100.00 to help with the refurbishment of the Ashford based East Kent Mobile chemotherapy unit supplied by the Hope or Tomorrow Charity, making a total of £840.00 from local Lodges and a personal donation. The donation will be used to replace the refrigerator on the MCU which is named “Caron”.

In addition to this generous donation Tony also announced that he would be delighted to present a cheque for £100.00 on behalf of the lodge to W.Bro Brian Ward the Assistant Provincial Grand Charity Steward in support of the Mark Benevolent Fund Charity Walk. W.Bro Brian on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master thanked Charity Steward W.
