It was only just over a year ago that Kent Installed Mark Master’s (KIMM) – Lodge No.999 celebrated its 75th anniversary to a packed house at Wrotham Masonic Centre. And only a year ago, W. Bro. Nigel Cash was installed in the Chair of Adoniram at The Maidstone Masonic Centre, Tovil; who would have guessed what 2020 was to bring!

Without the ability to meet in person during the Covid Pandemic, many Lodges have got together on Zoom or other virtual media to socialise, support and maintain our special fellowship and this year’s Installation Meeting of KIMM on Saturday November 21st took the form a Virtual Business Meeting attended by 56 members.

The letters of permission and dispensation were read by the Provincial Grand Secretary. The meeting was also attended by the Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Archie Torrance, who proposed the motion that, due to the limitations of the present climate, W. Bro. Cash continue as Worshipful Master for the ensuing year together with all of his Officers.

The motion was unanimously passed and W. Bro. Nigel thanked everyone present for their support and the continued opportunity to represent the Lodge.

The Prov.G.M. went on to express his gratitude the Lodge for its recruitment and retention successes, as fourteen joining and re-joining members were successfully balloted for. He also expressed how pleased he was that the welfare of our members and communities had remained uppermost in the Brethren’s minds and with the aid of many Lodges and the
Kent Mark Benevolent Fund was able to help so many in need.
If you are an Installed or Past Master and have yet to join KIMM, a warm welcome awaits you in this most happy and prestigious Lodge.
