The biggest and best Kent Mark PGM’s Inter-Province Golf Championship to date was held at Kings Hill GC (West Malling, Kent) on Tuesday 18th June 2019 when teams from the Mark Provinces of Essex, Hants & Isle of Wight, Middlesex, Kent, London, Surrey and Sussex took part in our annual tournament.

The Kent ‘B’ Team of Dave Higgins, Graham Beach, Bob Appleby and Keith Reynolds managed the course and the weather best coming home as the winning team on the day.

The event could not have been so successful without the hard work in planning and staging the Championship, for the 5th consecutive year, of Keith Stoner (Secretary, Kent Mark Golf Association), Gerry Miller, Keith Reynolds, Bob Appleby and their organising team.

Provincial Grand Master, Archie Torrance expressed his “Grateful thanks to all the players who travelled from far and wide to be with us, with particular thanks to David Ashbolt PGM (London), Eddy Garty PGM (Middlesex), Ian Clark PGM (Surrey) and Richard Bowyer DPGM (Essex) who all gave their personal support. Thanks must also go to the Captain, Secretary and staff at Kings Hill GC for looking after us so well and laying on a first class carvery.”

Next year’s Championship will be held on Friday 12th June 2020, the day before the 152nd Annual Festival of the Mark Benevolent Fund. Details will be included in 2020 Festival booking packs. All Mark Provinces are welcome to enter.
