Teams from the Mark Provinces of Buckinghamshire, Essex, Sussex and Kent took part in the annual Kent Mark PGM’s Inter-Province Golf Championship at King’s Hill Golf Club, West Malling.

We are delighted to announce that one of the Kent teams, namely Gerry Miller, Vic Hollister, Keith Stoner and Archie Torrance lifted the trophy for the highest number of stableford points and each player was awarded an engraved gold medal to keep.

It is particularly noteworthy that Kent are the third Province to have won the trophy since the Championship was introduced, following the success of the inaugural winners from Buckinghamshire in 2015 and Sussex in 2016.

Congratulations also go to Gary Macdonald (longest drive) and Adrian Wagstaff (nearest the pin).

At the end of another successful day the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Archie Torrance, expressed his “Grateful thanks to Keith Stoner (Provincial Golf Association Secretary and Championship organiser); Gerry Miller (scorer and planning committee member); the PGMs of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Sussex for entering teams; and all of the players who took part.”

The next golfing event in the Province is the Hyundai Classic Charity Golf Day, again at King’s Hill Golf Club, on Thursday 28th September 2017.
