Wednesday 2 March 2016 saw a very special event at Kent Mark Stewards Lodge. WBro Barry Cleaves installed the Provincial Grand Master of the Craft Province of East Kent, Bro Geoffrey Dearing as Worshipful Master for the year 2016.
The Lodge was privileged to receive a visit from the Assistant Grand Master, RW Bro Ray Smith. Making the event even more exceptional was the fact that the Provincial Grand Master for the Province of West Kent, WBro Mark Estaugh, was appointed as Senior Warden of the Lodge! With the prospect of the Craft PGMs following one after the other into the Worshipful Master s Chair, we can be assured that the Lodge is in good hands for some time to come!
To mark the occasion, WBro Geoffrey presented the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Archie Torrance with a cheque from the Lodge for £1,000 towards the 2020 Festival.
With 91 members and guests sitting down to dine at the Festive Board, the day was rounded off in the happy and enjoyable manner, which is so characteristic of the Mark Degree and its various Lodges and members.
