Wednesday 1 March 2017 saw a truly exceptional meeting of Kent Mark Stewards Lodge 1691. The event marked the 25th anniversary of the Lodge. This, in itself, is a significant milestone but much more was involved

The Lodge was honoured to receive the Pro Grand Master, M.W. Bro. Richard Victor Wallis, accompanied by the Deputy Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Raymond John Smith, together with the Grand Secretary, R.W. Bro. Lt. Cdr. Angus Hannagan, and the Grand Director of Ceremonies, R.W. Bro. Kessick Jones.

All present were witness to an exceptional event as the Craft Provincial Grand Master for East Kent, Bro Geoffrey Dearing, Installed the Craft Provincial Grand Master for West Kent, WBro Mark Estaugh, in a truly excellent ceremony. The Pro Grand Master addressed the Festive Board and made the point that it appears to be unique that one Craft PGM should Install another Craft PGM in the Chair of a Mark Stewards’ Lodge. In fact, it is undoubtedly unique across the whole Mark Degree!

To round the day off, the Lodge sponsored the Lodge donated £1,000 to the Kent MBF Sponsored Walk Team. An excellent conclusion to a unique and wonderful day.
