As the Covid-19 vaccination programme gains pace, two Masonic Centres in Kent have opened their doors as vaccination hubs thanks to the efforts of the Craft Province of West Kent!

Both Welling, in the north, and the more centrally located Tunbridge Wells centres have put their locations, space and facilities to excellent use to assist the roll out in their local communities.

We were both delighted and proud to hear from W.Bro. Mark Estaugh, the Provincial Grand Master & Grand Superintendent of West Kent on 1th January, that
“COVID-19 vaccination has begun this morning at Tunbridge Wells Masonic Centre with 50 people per hour arriving”.

Whilst at Welling over 2,000 people were inoculated over the initial weekend, with similar numbers to follow.
The TWMC team managed the hosting and car parking. Those receiving the vaccine were delighted to see the Masonic Centre playing its part, many of whom were unaware that it was even there!
