âIn another of his surprise, impromptu visits the Provincial Grand Master, RW. Bro. Archie Torrance attended the Malling Abbey Royal Ark Mariner Lodge No. 1425 on Thursday November 29th, where he had the pleasure of seeing Peter Hayler installed as WCdr by W. Bro. Bill Laidler in excellent fashion.
W. Bro. Peter has been one of our top Area Fundraising Managers for several years and he is currently our Assistant Provincial Grand Charity Steward.
The Lodge is already a holder of MBF Grand Patron Gold Award and a 2020 Festival Bronze Award holder, however, they continued this generosity by presenting the PGM with a cheque for £800 which qualifies them for 2020 Festival Silver Award.

RW. Bro. Archie took the opportunity to discuss opportunities for attracting candidates for Elevation, Malling Abbey Mark Lodge having 38 members of which 22 are not yet in the R.A.M. Also, the potential benefits of Mark and R.A.M. Lodges meeting on the same night.
Finally, he was delighted to, once again, be in the company of W. Bro. Frank Holding RAMGR PastAPGM, a Founder of the Lodge, who he used to escort on official visits.
