We are delighted to announce that a further two applications have been approved by the Mark Benevolent Fund Worthy Causes Committee for charities here in Kent.
The successful applications were from Martha Trust who have care homes for people with profound physical and multiple learning disabilities in Deal and Hastings, and United Response’s Community Network in Folkestone who support adults and young people with disabilities to live the life they choose, at home and in the community.
More details of how these charities will be putting the funding to specific good use will follow in due course.
In the meantime please do not forget that our Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W.Bro. Brian Ward is always happy to receive suggestions about other local worthy causes that the MBF or the KMBF could help.
