On Wednesday September 18th, our Provincial Grand Master, RW. Bro. Archie Torrance accompanied by Darren Coleman-Heald, MBF Charities Manager visited Ellenor Hospice in Northfleet, Gravesend to present them with a cheque for £21,012 on behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund.
The funds are part of a national MBF initiative to provide Lifelites Tech Trunks to assist in the care of the hopsice’s seriously ill children. More details can be found via our recent news item.
RW. Bro. Archie expressed his sincere thanks to Darren Coleman-Heald and his colleagues from the Mark Province of Kent – Fred Brown DPGM, Ian Gallehawk APGM, Brian Ward ProvGChStwd, Peter Hayler AsstProvGChStwd and Peter Lapage 2020 Festival Treasurer for “giving up their valuable time to support him at the cheque presentation”. He continued “It was lovely to meet both their Simone Enefer-Doy and Hannah Collier, Lifelite’s Chief Executive and Communications Officer, and to see first hand the excellent work they are doing”.
