An amazing 124 Kent Mark Masons, their families and friends packed out the wonderful surroundings of Maidstone’s Cornwallis Suite on 27th July for the 2025 Kent Mark Family Sunday Lunch.

Presided over by R.W.Bro. Peter Williams, Provincial Grand Master, in one of his last provincial events before he becomes the new Assistant Grand Master in September, the day was superbly organised by the Provincial Grand Charity Steward Peter Richards, in support of the Kent Mark Benevolent Fund. The lunch is a relaxed and popular fixture in the Provincial calendar and, as you can see, is always well supported by families across the generations.

The guests enjoyed a sumptuous carvery with choice of four different meats, preceded and followed by a choice of wonderfully prepared starters and desserts. After the meal and Loyal Toast, KMBF Trustee, Ian Gallehawk spoke briefly about the important work of the provincial charity and thanked all present for their attendance and support of the raffle which had raised an incredible £780, which would be used for both charitable and benevolent purposes throughout Kent. Details of recent grants made by the KMBF can be found in the News section of this website.

Ian then surprised several members by formally awarding them with KMBF patronage certificates and lapel pins, which were all gratefully received and warmly applauded:
