Regular readers will recall that in September 2020 the Trustees of the Mark Benevolent Fund agreed a grant of £158,970 to The Kingfisher Medway Trust for an environmentally friendly river cruiser fitted with state-of-the-art features to cater for disabled and wheelchair bound passengers.

The Kingfisher Medway Trust currently operates an old river cruiser on the River Medway in the heart of the Province. The MBF’s grant was given to purchase a new specially designed river cruiser for the disabled to replace the existing vessel which is coming to the end of its working life.

We have launched a free to enter competition for all Mark Master Masons in the Province of Kent to come up with a suitable name
for this new craft.
Please send your suggestions by email to the Provincial Grand Charity Steward.

Entries will close at 23.59hrs on 30th June 2021, with the winner being invited to attend the launch ceremony, which will take place on 20th September on the River Medway.

The winner will be chosen by a panel selected by the Provincial Grand Master.

In the event of multiple winners suggesting the same name, the winning attendee will be determined by a draw.
Good luck and get thinking.
