As you will know by now, and given the extraordinary times we are currently living in, the ‘Chains’ for the Mark Province of Kent agreed earlier this week that our current priority ought to be Welfare, Welfare, Welfare.
I am now able to outline further decisions we have made in relation to annual dues and fees payable to the Province.
Provincial Grand Lodge Annual Dues
Annual dues payable to the Province by Mark Lodges and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges in Kent for 2020 will not be required to be paid.
Dispensations Payable to Province
Any dispensation granted by me during 2020 will be free of charge.
Kent Masonic Year Book
No fee will be charged to Mark and R.A.M. Lodges in Kent for the 2021 edition of the Kent Masonic (red) Year Book, which is due to be published in September 2020. Mark and R.A.M. Lodges in Kent will therefore receive their usual allocation free of charge.
Provincial Appointments and Promotions
Whilst the usual fee of honour for Provincial appointment or promotion will still be required of recipients, anyone who would prefer to defer their payment until later in the year may do so. In such circumstances, a brother should contact the Provincial Grand Secretary, W. Bro. David Stiff by email.
I do hope that these one-off arrangements will be well received by our members in Kent. We made these decisions with your welfare in mind.
