On Wednesday 17th February R.W.Bro Archie Torrance continued his Masonic advancement by joining the West Kent Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees at Oakley House in Bromley.
The District Grand Prefect, R.W.Bro Peter Brockbank was in attendance to not only witness this occasion but also to welcome Bro Archie into the order.. The ceremony was conducted in a most proficient manner by the Worshipful Master Perri Ahmet. Itâs no surprise that Bro Archie chose the West Kent AMD as the secretary is the Past PGM for Kent, W.Bro Roger Croucher. Also present were many distinguished members of the Kent Mark Degree, W.Bro Roland Wade (PPGM), W.Bro David Green (DPGM), W.Bro Alan Eadie (PPAGM) & W.Bro Fred Brown (APGM). Also present was R.W.Bro Terry Bowler & R.W.Bro Kessick Jones along with another 10 guests.

On being admitted a member of the degree Bro Archie said âI am delighted to have become a member of West Kent Council No. 66 in the Order of the Allied Masonic Degrees – District of Kent. The warmth of my reception into the Order was outstanding and I am grateful to W Bro. Perri Ahmet and W Bro. Roger Croucher, my proposer and seconder, for having supported this further step in my Masonic career. The whole evening was most enjoyable and I am grateful to all who played a part to make in making it so memorable. I look forward to working with RW Bro. Peter Brockbank, District Grand Prefect, to bring the Mark Province of Kent and the Allied District Grand Council of Kent even closer together.”
After the meeting the 28 members dined together at Oakley House.
