The annual Provincial Officers’ mess was held at Tovil on 9 April. On a rather cold and sometimes wet day, it was a pleasure to close off the outside world for a few hours and mix with like-minded Mark Masons, all of whom had attended to celebrate their membership of the Province and enjoy an afternoon of good company.

With 86 members dining, the hall was full. The Provincial Grand Master and Chair of the Mess, RW Bro Archie Torrance, updated the members on events within the province. He was even modelling the new Kent Festival tie and handkerchief, soon to be on general sale.

The pictures capture the happy atmosphere more than any words. Here’s to next year! If you didn’t make it this year, or if you receive a Provincial first appointment this year, do try to join us in 2017 and share in the fun and happiness!
