In our digital age social media sites are an everyday method of communication.

They provide a variety ways in which to share information with a wide audience at the press of a button. As such they are an excellent tool for sharing information about our friendly Mark and Royal Ark Mariner degrees, yet having been taught to be cautious we should also be mindful that incorrect use can have a damaging impact not only on our public image, but that of Freemasonry in general.

Social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are a key part of our overall communications strategy and as such everything that we and you do when engaging with each other and the wider world should look to:

Build a positive reputation for Mark and RAM Freemasonry in Kent
Help attract and retain quality members
Ensure the Province’s long term sustainable future

As Mark and RAM members we have to be Craft Masons first, therefore rather than duplicate a policy for the sake of it your attention is drawn to the thorough Social Media Policy & Guidelines of The United Grand Lodge of England.
