At the Sidcup Masonic Hall on May 21st, 24 year-old Bro Gary Bassom was Advanced into the Royal Oak Lodge Mark of Mark Master Masons No.416 by W. Bros Brian Tear and Rob Downing who shared the ceremony with typical Mark friendliness.
Gary’s Brother and Proposer, 32 year-old, Peter who was only Advanced himself in September was Inner Guard, whilst 30 year-old Tom Priestman acted as Senior Deacon and also presented the Working Tools.

At the same meeting Tom Priestman was Installed into the chair of Commander of the anchored Royal Ark Mariner Lodge, becoming its youngest ever commander.
