Following on from last year’s successful Annual General Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge, this year’s event will be on Saturday 30th September 2023, and it will be again held at the Kent County Showground, near Detling, Maidstone.
This central location will enable more of our members from all over Kent to more easily attend what is our premier annual event for the Province.
The format will broadly be the same as last year’s meeting, starting with a mid-morning meeting, where all recipients of Mark Provincial Grand Rank Appointments and Promotions, along with any newly Advanced brethren will be invested and greeted by the Provincial Grand Master and the Executive. In addition, all recipients of Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank Appointments, and any newly Elevated brethren will also be Invested and greeted by the Provincial Grand Master and the Executive.
This will be followed by lunch.
This also means that the Annual Provincial Grand Assembly Meeting, previously held under the auspices of the Kent Installed Commanders Lodge will not take place.
It is hoped that this combined event will bring benefits to those attending and make the entire day a happy and wonderful occasion remembered by all.
